QD2100 QuickScan Barcode Reader Linear Imager
Semicron Systems provides the Datalogic QuickScan QD2100 linear imager barcode reader that is cost effective, reliable and durable, suitable for use in retail point of sale, couriers, postal services and office applications. Quick Scan QD2100 is a series of QD2110 and QD2130. It can be purchased as scanner only or as a kit. The QD2110 is the scanner only model featuring built-in multi-interface with IBM, USB and RS232 ports. The QD2130 is the kit model that includes the scanner featuring built-in multi-interface with Keyboard Wedge, USB, RS232 and Wand Emulation ports, and cable. The QD2100 is lightweight, ergonomic, and with small footprint, and users find it comfortable to use for variety of tasks. It has a high reading performance, making it suitable to read hard to read bar codes and wide range of symbologies such as 1D and GS1 DataBar linear codes.
The QD2100 Quickscan barcode reader features the “Green Spot'” for good read feedback to the user. When the imager scanner is in its stand, the Green Spot light will be on to indicate to the user where to position the barcode for quick reading. The QD2100 has been designed to allow for the scan window to be replaced in the field by the user when it is damaged or scratched without sending the scanner to be repaired. This ensures that the scanner is always in good working conditions and available for use, thereby increasing productivity and helps reduce the total cost of ownership. The included user-friendly configuration program, the Datalogic Aladdin, allows for a simple start-up procedure to all users, including new and inexperienced.
