Pizzerias and full pizza restaurants are among the most complex restaurants to run. Most pizza POS programs can be set up to run well for either table service, or take-out. Restaurant Pro Express software lets you do both table service and take-out in the same restaurant. You can setup each of your POS stations to have their own unique settings. One station can default to fine dining, and the second station can prompt the user if the order is to stay, to go, or delivery. Restaurant Pro Express allows you to set permissions for each employee. For each function, you can allow or disallow an employee to perform it, or to perform it with the permission of the manager. With Restaurant Pro Express you can organize your menu in different categories or departments, allowing cashiers to find them easily. This makes checkout faster because cashier never have to look up a price. In addition, critical functions extend to the delivery process, including integrated caller ID, delivery tracking and driver routing.

Restaurant Pro Express (RPE) allows you to perform critical pizza functions such as unlimited list of toppings, adding toppings to halves, quarters or the whole pizza, changing sizes and crusts with a single touch, streamlining ordering process by minimizing touches required to order a pizza, further modifying pizzas with half toppings, double toppings and other instructions, creating complicated pizza menus in minutes. Specialty pizzas can also be configured to default to pre-set toppings, view which toppings are on which part of the pizza, and Pizza price shown as the pizza is being prepared.

The built-in pizza delivery tracking with caller ID in RPE makes it easy to enter orders into the POS system and also helps deliver the orders in a timely and professional fashion. The caller ID interface displays the information about the customer calling and what they last ordered before you pick up the phone. The name and address of the customer are automatically tied to the transaction, thereby eliminating errors. The delivery system also assigns orders to different drivers as well as displays when they are dispatched with their deliveries. When the driver returns, they check-in to settle and deposit their funds.

A typical pizzaria point of sell system should have a POS computer, receipt printer, kitchen printer, cash drawer, credit card reader, and touch screen monitor. At least one cashier station with cash drawer, receipt printer, credit card reader and touch screen monitor should be setup for customer checkout.

Customizable Menu

Restaurant Pro Express (RPE) has been designed with a built in configuration utility to allow you customize the look of your touch screen as well as to add user definable hot keys. The interface screen is also customizable, and will allow you to color code your touch screen, such as having making the pizza button to be red and soda button to be green. You can also have a picture on any touch button. You can also create a hot key for the common items you sell so you do not have to search through your menus items when you sell the item.
