The polished sapphire tip can be easily replaced in case of damage. This barcode wand features a unique advanced data editing capability that sets it apart among other pen scanners in its class. The streamline shape of the MS120 scanner gives the user the feeling of handling and comfort of a standard ink pen. To scan a barcode with the MS120 pen scanner, you will just sweep the tip of the reader across the barcode in either direction. You will hear a beep confirming that the barcode has been successfully read.
The Unitech MS120 barcode wand has a built-in optics and electronic technology that allows it capable convert a barcode into a digital signal. The MS120 pen scanner is available in various interface options. The MS120AG is an undecoded scanner with 9-pin squeeze release TTL connection. The MS120-2G is decoded scanner with 9-pin serial RS232 interface. The MS120-3PS2 is also a decoded scanner, but with keyboard wedge, PS2 interface.
All MS120 scanners come with interface. The scanner with RS232 interface requires a power supply, which is not included. The power supply must be purchased separately. With a one year warranty on the scanner unit and 90 days warranty on the cable adapter, this pen scanner is a cost effective solution for most retail, office, commercial and industrial applications that require a simple data collection scanner.
