The DS9808 is available in standard range and long range models. The DS9808-SR offers a hand-held decode range of up to 10.5 inches, and the DS9808-LR offers a hand-held decode range of up to 18 inches. Its hands-free decode range can be adjusted to meet your particular needs, for example, such as EAS deactivation or preventing inadvertent scanning of items nearby.
