Magellan 8500 Scanner & Scale | 6-Sided POS Scanner
Semicron Systems provides the affordable Magellan 8500Xt scanner scale, a series of the popular Magellan 8500 model of Datalogic scanner & scale. This is a reliable, high performance, and efficient in-counter scanner/scale suitable for most high volume retail point of sale applications. The Magellan 8500XT scanner scale is the fastest in its class. It features the All Weighs scale platter that allows users to weigh long or bulky items without touching the item, thereby helping to reduce product shrinkage at point of sale. Another feature of the Magellan 8500XT that helps reduce produce shrinkage is the integrated EAS antenna for optional Checkpoint or Sensormatic. Its label editing feature makes is easy to pre-format data before sending it to the POS System
for POS data management applications. In addition, the scanner/scale comes with data reporting tools to help the user manage the data from the scanner as well as provide on-the-spot feedback to the user, and also allows for tracking of EAS tagging compliances.
Magellan 8500XT scanner scale boasts of a 6-sided, 3D scanning that helps shorten checkout lines and improve throughput at point of sale, thereby increasing efficiency and customer satisfaction. The scanner reads all standard 1D codes, including GS1 DataBar linear codes, Stacked, and Omni-directional codes. Magellan 8500XT is available in Scanner only and Scanner with Scale combination. It also supports single head and dual head remote scale display. The scanner with scale combination is also available in long platter, with Sapphire glass. The 8500Xt scanners scale is the number one retail POS scanner in the market, both in reliability, performance and affordability.
