Partner Tech KB1141 POS Keyboard with 84 Programmable Keys

The KB-1141 keyboard is so versatile it can be used to replace any standard PC/AT type keyboard. It accommodates 3 programmable key layouts using 28 keys, providing a total of 84 programmable keys. Every key on each layout may be programmed to represent a data string up to 16 characters.

This keyboard uses a membrane technology that creates a spill resistant and durable design which makes it suitable for almost any environment. This membrane technology has been tested with up to 10 million key presses. Also included is an integrated mouse pad which makes navigation in any mouse driven environment a snap. Also feature a non-decoded I/O port for additional input devices.

Using the menu driven utility software provided, the keys can be easily programmed ranging from one
character definition to control keys with string key definitions. This utility also allows for the custom layout to be saved and retrieved for modification or for programming multiple keyboards. All of the 28 programmable keys are re-legendable and each programmed key is stored in the keyboard memory. The keyboard will accept single or dual key caps. Magnetic stripe reader options are also available.
