Dial, Receive Calls from Your Remote Monitoring System Using Any Cell Phone

The XLink FGD-0230 cell phone interface connects your cell phone and your Sensaphone Remote Environmental Monitoring Devices, allowing the Sensaphone device to dial and receive phone calls anywhere using any cell phone with Bluetooth technology. XLink wirelessly links your cellular phone and a Sensaphone. With FGD-0230 XLink located next to your Sensaphone device, you provide a telephone service to the device. The XLink functions by sending all incoming calls to the Sensaphone. When the Sensaphone needs to dial out, it will seamlessly complete the call through the cell phone. FGD-0230 is suitable for applications where a land line telephone is not available. It works with Sensaphone 400, 800, 1400, 1800, 2800, and Express II models. Included in the package are FGD0230 XLink, Power Supply, 3-foot telephone wire, and Operating manual. To wire or connect the XLink and your cell phone to Sensaphone Auto Dialer: First, connect the power supply from the FGD0230 XLink to electrical outlet. Second, plug one end of the telephone cord into the XLink and the other end into the Sensaphone. That is all. Programming the FGD0230 XLink to communicate with your cell phone: 1. Hold down the line button until it starts to blink. 2. On your cell phone, enable Bluetooth. If you have to search for Bluetooth device, make sure to select “Hands-free” option. 3. Select XLink Gateway. 4. Enter the PIN Number 0000 when prompted. 5. The LED on the XLink will light up solid when the system is connected. Power Failure Notice Note that while Sensaphone Remote Monitoring Devices and Auto Dialers have built-in function that allows them to operate during power failures, the Bluetooth XLink interface does not operate during a power failure. This means that in case of power failure, the Sensaphone will be unable to communicate or make any phone calls.
